Calcined anthracite is used as a filler in the production of ramming and electrode paste, cathode blocks, carbon electrodes and other carbon products. Anthracite from the Gorlovsky deposit with high strength and chemical resistance to molten salt is used as raw material for the production of calcined anthracite.
